What to expect
Hopefully this is your first and last time getting married. So no one expects you to understand the in's and out's of getting married. Let me help you out and walk you through the whole process.
Connect with us
Obviously we need to know you're interested in our services before we can help, so reaching out is step one! GET IN TOUCH
We'll send over some additional info after we chat, and we'll reserve your date for a week while you mull your choices. We'll then send over our service agreement for you to sign and an invoice for the $200 non-refundable retainer payment to save the date. Once those two things are out of the way, we can get down to really making this happen!
Writing your Vows (optional)
You either choose to repeat after me for your vows, or you can write your own. We'll send over a blog post that will help you to write your vows. And not only that, but some sample vows that we think have worked pretty well to give you a good idea of what we think works well.
Getting a Marriage License
It's important to note that you'll have to wait until 35 days before your ceremony to get your Marriage License. The two of you will have to go in person to a County Clerk and Recorder's office to get it. And we have lots more information on when, where and how to get it. You can find more info here: MARRIAGE LICENSE INFORMATION
Getting Unity ceremony materials
If you've found a Unity Ceremony that you'd like to do, and the package you've selected supports it, you'll need to get the materials together. You can find a list of the items you'll need here: UNITY CEREMONIES. And if you'd rather avoid the hassle of getting them yourself, we do offer rentals for some items.
When I first started doing this I didn't think the rehearsal was very important.
I had a very odd experience on the sixth wedding I ever officiated. As soon everyone got up to the front and I launched into the opening of the ceremony, the couple started talking to each other while I was speaking. At first I didn't know what to do. Should I stop at let them speak? Should I keep going like nothing was happening? I opted to take a page out of show business, and the show must go on! I simply ignored them and kept going. I thought that it was just a fluke
